Job Summary
- Position Title: HR/Admin Manager
- Reporting Line: General Manager

- Duration: 1-year employment with possibility to extend
- Duty Station: Banjul with possible assignments out of Banjul
Key Responsibilities of HR & Administrative Department:
- Develop Strategic Management plan
- Formulating and reviewing administrative policies
- Overseeing the management of service contracts and service level agreements for outsourced services
- Workforce Planning and Employment (recruitment and selection)
- Overseeing the process of acquiring new service providers related to all outsourced services falling under administration section
- Ensuring travel clearance, visas and other necessary travel documents for the Board of Directors, Management and staff travelling in/out of the country on official duties are done promptly
- Human Resource Development (training & development)
- Ensuring provision transport services
- Ensuring records management is provided in compliance with the Legal provisions and Corporation quality standards
- Total Rewards (compensation & benefits)
- Developing departmental budgets
- Monitoring budget expenditure and provide guidance to Administration Section on financial discrepancies
- Forecasting administrative staff needs for the Section
- Formulating and implementing Records Management policies
- Policy Formulation
- Employee and Labor Relations and Statutory Compliance
- Risk Management
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
- 3-4 years of progressive Administrative experience especially with Local or International organizations
- Operational knowledge and familiarity of International organizations
- High level of integrity and detail oriented
- Ability to work in a diverse team and under stress
- Ability in maintaining a professional approach/attitude towards work
- Good written/verbal communication in English, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work with MS Office and proficiency in any HR/Payroll software
- Advanced Certification and/or Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Management, Business Studies or related discipline
